Evil Geniuses have booked a spot in the semi-finals at the American WCG qualifier with a 17-13 victory over Loaded.

A slow but well-timed push on bombsite A, combined with some good flashwork, put EG into an early lead in the first half. In the second round, Loaded's desert eagle work damaged EG but it would not be until the third round that they would steal a round from their opponents, in a nice move from Sean "sgares" Gares.

A couple of close rounds then followed, but with the score tied 3-3, EG increased the pace and won a staggering eight rounds in a row. The last round of the first half went to Loaded as the scoreboard displayed 11-4 for EG.

The second half began with a CT push from EG which left Loaded in shock. The success in the first round powered EG to go all the way and pick up a comfortable 16-5 victory. The remaining rounds were mere formality, but still Loaded managed to turn the score around and win the half 9-6 to make it a 17-13 defeat.
